The IT Office at Karolinska Institutet makes sure that the authentication is functioning towards Microsoft 365. Karolinska Institutet provides no user support. More information about handling data in Microsofts cloud services (in Swedish) Support With help from central authentication structures, KI guarantees that the student’s password does not leave KI’s IT infrastructure when logging in to Microsoft 365. Karolinska Institutet tends to safety and integrity. You choose if you want to use the service or not. The service is free of charge for all students at Karolinska Institutet.

Microsoft 365 works on iPhone, iPad, Android- och Windows phones but not on Android tablets.

Please keep in mind that you are responsible for the materials you upload on OneDrive and handle in the applications. The following programs are included in MS Office:Īs a student you will get a 1 TB storage space for your files in the cloud, which can easily be accessed through your browser, or directly from the Office applications on your computer.

You can also, free of charge, download up to five licenses of the Microsoft Office-package on your units. You can create and edit for instance Word-, Excel- och PowerPoint-files directly in your web browser with the web browser version of Microsoft 365.
